The Arts

We believe that every child comes to us with innate creative abilities and a sensitivity to the beauty of the natural world. It’s never too early to expose them to the best in the arts. Each day children are allowed different ways to express themselves, and we have found that they have a lot to say! They are at a point in their lives when they may not yet be able to adequately express themselves verbally or in writing, but paint, clay, or blocks can be a way for them to speak without words.  To create is to take risks and to sometimes fail, but it yields a joy that makes those risks well worth taking.

Classroom art may include drawing, painting, sculpting, building, writing, singing, music making, dancing and dramatic play.
